I only saw two commercial breaks of their hosting, but I found it disturbing- so coy, seductive and fake. Felt way too FOX for those ladies to be playing along with.
I only caught the last bit of their hosting as we watched Dollhouse a tad delayed with Tivo. It was kind of awkward, I agree. Their out-takes are way more natural: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU1gAXbeU5w.
